Summer Sugar Skull Card

Hello friends. You all know by now I love sugar skulls. So today I pulled out one of my favorite stamps sets to use for this card.
I am using the Calavera Cling Stamp.
I took a piece of white cardstock and stamped the image a few times on the front using Versamark ink. I then heat embossed the images using a detailed white powder.
I grabbed four of my favorite Distress Ink colors and blended them all over the card.
I used Picked Raspberry, Ripe Persimmon, Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade. I blended each color into the next until there was not a harsh line.

I love using these colors for summer and I think they went with the sugar skull nicely.
I then used the Hola sentiment from the set Calvaras and Corazons set to stamp directly onto the card using Versafine Onxy Black ink.

I hope you enjoyed my post today. Have a wonderful day.

Hello friends.
It is almost time to celebrate the 4th of July. So to celebrate I used the stamp set

I colored over the entire image with the Clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen. To finish off the card from I added a die cut "Celebrate" word to the front out of glitter paper.

where flowers bloom

Hey guys! Ashley here today sharing a fun spring card today. I haven't played with my distress inks in a while so I got those out today. I used the Mini Flowers rubber stamp set to make my background. I stamped the flowers with Versamark and heat embossed them. Then I used distress inks to color my background and make my heat embossed flowers stand out.
Next I stamped the sentiment from the Flower red rubber stamp set and heat embossed it with fine gold embossing powder. I wanted 'hope' to stand out more than the rest of the sentiment, so I used some washi and masked off the 'hope' word first. Next I masked off the other words and stamped 'hope.' I used a sparkly gold embossing powder on 'hope.'

So my finished card...

Thanks for stopping by!

the masterpiece of nature

Hello! Ashley here today and I'm sharing a card using the Build a Wreath stamp set and a sentiment from Kind Words.
I used many of the stamps from the Build a Wreath stamp set to 'build' my wreath. I inked the stamps with Versamark and heat embossed them to make my wreath. Then I used the sentiment: A friend may well be reckoned the masterpiece of nature. I felt like playing on the nature theme.
Here you can see a close up of the wreath. I tied on some twine at the bottom to add a finishing 'nature' touch. :)
Thanks for looking!

Thank you

Hello friends. Larissa here with you today. I have a fun card for you. I actually had a video I was taping during the process to share with you but I noticed after I was done and went to turn it off the phone had died. Soooooo I will just tell you.

I used watercolors for this card. I stamped the images from the Floral Cling Stamp set  using Versamark ink on a piece of watercolor paper. I poured white embossing powder over the top and heat embossed them. I then took a piece of plastic from the stamp set and added different shades of red and orange to it. I also added lots of water. Then I smooshed the card into the plastic a couple of times. I wiped it off and did the same thing with the green and blues and added it to the middle.
I spritzed a few drops of purple and red onto the card as well.
I die cut the Thank You out of black cardstock 4 times to give it some depth.
I adhered it to the card with Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive. I also used it to adhere the card front to the white card base.

I hope you enjoyed my card today and I promise to have my battery fully charged next time.

Have a wonderful day.
