Wish BIg

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today and I'm happy to be working with these lovely stamps  from Paper Wings Productions.

I've inked blue cardstock with a stars art screen.  Next I used the Hanging Stars Clear Stamp Set, stamping it on white cardstock.  After fussy cutting around the stamp, I matted it with blue cardstock before adding it to the background which I also fussy cut along the top edge.

Brads were under under the stamped image and Wish Big was added in the corner.  This panel was then added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

There are so many options for this stamp set.  I just love it.

Thanks for stopping by today.

love you

Hi everyone! Ashley here sharing a Valentine's day card that I made using the Wild Card cartridge with my Cricut.

I used three different stamps sets from Paper Wings Productions that you initially may not consider for a Valentine's day project. The stamp sets I chose are Say It Winter GreetingsFall Mix It Up, and Text Melange.

I used the Crate Paper Hello, Love patterned papers which are perfect for this project. For the front of the card, I used one of the script stamps inked with a light grey. Because I wanted it to be very subtle, I stamped on a scrap paper first, did not re-ink the stamp, and then stamped a second time on my card. You can see a side by side comparison below:

The Fall Mix It Up stamp set had the 'happy' and 'together' stamps that I used for the front of the card. For the inside of the card, I used 'love' from Say It Winter Greetings and 'you' from Fall Mix It Up stamp set. Mixing words and phrases in your stamp sets is a great way to get more use out of them!

The card fits perfectly in the corresponding envelope and I used the same ink color to stamp 'happy' and the heart stamp from the Say It Winter Greetings stamp set onto the envelope.

What phrases can you put together with your stamp sets?

Coffee makes everything better

Hello friends. Larissa here with a card I made using Playing with you Coffee stamp set.

I started off by stamping one of the coffee cups from the set onto a piece of 110 lb white cardstock.
I then colored the cup using Copic markers. I used BG000, BG13, BG14, BG72, E31, E33.
I then cut the cup out using a pair of detail scissors.

I found some pattern paper in my stash that matched pretty well. I cut two piece of pattern paper and then matted them both.

The sentiment is from the same set.

I hope you enjoyed my post today. Be sure to check back to see what the rest of the Design Team has created for you.

Have a wonderful day.

Coffee Note Cards

Happy New Year crafters !
Pam here today.  It's been a super busy 2016 for me so far as we are in the process of relocating to South Carolina.  Such an exciting process but also very stressful. One of my favorite things to help me relax is creating! Today's project features a couple stamps from the Play with Your Coffee set.  Where would I be without my coffee?

This project is adapted from a previous card I created- for this particular project I just recreated the background piece of the card to make a set of simple note cards to give as gifts!

The faux burlap background is a stencil mono print on watercolor paper using Distress Inks to simulate a burlap bag of coffee beans. I colored in the "beans" with Distress Markers to add some dimension and color.
Thanks for joining me today!

Happy New Year Mittens

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today and I'm happy to be working with these lovely stamps  from Paper Wings Productions.  It's hard to believe we are 12 days into the New Year already!  Where on earth is the time going?

Happy New Year wishes still abound and I've used Winter Wood Cuts cling stamp set and Say It Winter Greetings stamp set.

The card was created using Spellbinders dies.  I colored the mittens with Smooch Accent Inks, then I "hung" the mittens from some twine across the card.

Happy New Year was stamped in the corner.

And a close up of the mittens and sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by.

dance in the rain

Hello everyone! Ashley here and today I'm sharing a card using the Under the Weather stamp set from Paper Wings Productions. This is a really cute stamp set to bring some cheer for someone.

I stamped the umbrellas with Memento ink, colored them with Copic markers, and fussy cut them. For my card base, I used watercolor paper with distress inks. This is one of my favorite new techniques I've tried.

My sentiment is from the same stamp set, inked with VersaFine ink and stamped right onto the card base. I added a strip of glitter at the bottom in a coordinating blue.
Doesn't that water colored background remind you of a rainy day? Here is a throwback post from Erica using this stamp set. She used bright, cheerful colors on her cards.

Amor

Hello friends. Happy New Year to each of you. If you know me you know I love Sugar Skulls.
I use to just have them out at Halloween but now I have them out and use them all the time.

Today I used Mujer Skeleton Cling Stamp.

I stamped the image onto a 4 x 5 1/4 inch white cardstock with black ink and colored it using my Copic markers. The card looked to plain so I took the border stamp from Calaveraz & Corazons Clear Stamp to the top and bottom of the card. I also colored them with Copic markers.

To finish the card front I die cut a bunch of little flowers and adhered them with a few sequins on the bottom sides of the card.

For the inside of the card I just stamped the heart and left it blank with no sentiment so I could right my own message.

I hope you enjoyed my post today. Have a wonderful day friends.
